Inhibitions, fears and shame hold you back from feeling free to be yourself, expressing your emotions and realizing your potential. If you suffer from these emotions you know very well that you don’t want them in your life as much as you are afraid to let them go! This happens because they become so familiar over the years that you hide behind them. They give you a sort of apparent sense of protection from the Real Fear: Being really open to love and joy.
Opening up to positive emotions can be in fact as scary as opening up to feel negative emotions.
How to open up to positive emotions?
In our workshops and therapy we help you to release inhibitions and transform shame through expressive exercises like Gibberish, Voice liberation, Screaming therapy, OSHO active meditations, Free dancing and Shaking, Interactive group exercises etc.
In fact, you might feel ashamed to laugh out loud, to hug others, to dance freely, to be a bit silly, to share your emotions etc, but they are all experiences that we will invite you to have, so that you can move from your contracted position and open up to your authentic self. It is essential, if you want to be happy, to take courageous steps outside your comfort zone and it is easier if you are supported by an environment designed for that like our individual sessions and workshops.
We work with English-speaking clients mainly in Amsterdam and online.
Here a video about Gibberish, a very ancient technique to release tensions, open the way for deeper emotions to come up and… learn not to take ourselves too seriously! It can be done in many ways, here it is just an example. Practicing Gibberish will definitely help you to let go of shame and inhibitions!
